We encourage ALL dancers to participate in this special ballet-focused event. Ballet is an important and fundamental element in every dancer’s success. Judges will be professional, encouraging and inspirational!

Over $4000 in cash awards and scholarships at this event PLUS $1200 from the Terri Banfield Scholarship fund to 12 individual dancers.

SPECIAL GUIDELINES FOR 2021 VIRTUAL EVENT

Dancers may record their dance in any room – professional lighting and backdrops are not required. Dances will not be marked nor penalized for their setting. Costumes are not required. Special care is recommended to ensure black costumes and/or apparel are visible to the judges to allow them to see the performance and dancer’s technique. Touching, wearing masks etc. are at the discretion of Studio Directors.

The event will be presented via Zoom or similar service May 14-16, in the order of the event schedule. Awards will be spaced approximately every 2.5 hours throughout the event, as well as judges’ talks and other inspirational speakers. High score award cash amounts will be the same as they have been at physical events – over $4000 in cash awards and scholarships at this event PLUS $1200 from the Terri Banfield Scholarship fund to 12 individual dancers. Trophies and medals will be mailed to studios following the event. See you online!
